Assistant Principal

Hello Woodfill Parents and Community,

It is my pleasure to serve you as assistant principal this year! This is my 11th year in education. Prior to becoming assistant principal, I taught 4th grade for 10 years. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Morehead State University, a Master of Arts in Education-Teacher as a Leader from University of the Cumberlands, and an Education Specialist degree from Northern Kentucky University. By pursuing lifelong learning, I intend to be an example to students and teachers that we should never stop our love of learning.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and spoiling my two French Bulldogs, Pepper and Diamond. I also love to read, travel, and explore the outdoors.

It is my privilege to help Mr. Gesenhues lead Woodfill Elementary and the many talented teachers and students here! My goal is to continue to provide a supportive climate and culture at Woodfill that is conducive to teaching and learning. By doing so, each individual student and teacher can experience growth to their highest potential. I look forward to interacting with all stakeholders in our school community this year!

Kind regards,

Ms. Elizabeth Waymeyer

Assistant Principal
