Woodfill Families,
It has always been my dream to be the principal of an elementary school, and I am so fortunate to be the principal at Woodfill.
I have been lucky to spend my entire 17-year career at Woodfill. I began teaching here in 2006 as a 5th grade teacher and eventually moved to 4thgrade. I spent 12 years as an intermediate teacher, before transitioning to assistant principal in 2018. I felt honored to accept the Woodfill Principal job this past fall in 2022.
In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my family, my wife Casey is a 2ndgrade teacher at Johnson Elementary School, and my two kids Macy and Johnny are twin ten-year old’s who are students at Woodfill. We also love our dog, Scout.
In my free time, I enjoy being outside. You can find me on the golf course, hiking on trails, or camping in the woods. I also love anything to do with sports. I enjoy going to games or simply chilling on my couch and catching a game on TV. I also enjoy watching and coaching my own kids in their various athletic endeavors.
I love Woodfill and I love being the principal. Every day, I wake up and feel blessed to have the opportunity to make an impact on the families that call Woodfill home.
